| In this lesson, you’ll learn conversational phrases to answer the question, "What are you doing during the holiday?" After watching this video, you’ll be able to talk about your holiday plans. |
| Now, let’s take a look at some conversational phrases! |

| آپ یوم پاکستان کے لئے کیا کر رہے ہیں؟ |
| (Aap youmay Pakistan ky liye kia ker rahay hain? ) |
| میں ساحل سمندر پر جانے کا منصوبہ بنا رہا ہوں. |
| (Mei sahil e samundar per janay ka mansuba bana raha hun. ) |
| Once more with the English translation. |
| آپ یوم پاکستان کے لئے کیا کر رہے ہیں؟ |
| (Aap youmay Pakistan ky liye kia ker rahay hain? ) |
| “What are you doing for Pakistan Day?” |
| میں ساحل سمندر پر جانے کا منصوبہ بنا رہا ہوں. |
| (Mei sahil e samundar per janay ka mansuba bana raha hun. ) |
| “I'm planning to go to the beach.” |
| First of all you'll need to learn how to say “What are you doing for Pakistan Day?” |
| That's: |
| آپ یوم پاکستان کے لئے کیا کر رہے ہیں؟ |
| (Aap youmay Pakistan ky liye kia ker rahay hain? ) |
| This day celebrates the Pakistan Resolution, which was passed in Lahore on March 23, 1940. |

| آپ یوم پاکستان کے لئے کیا کر رہے ہیں؟, آپ یوم پاکستان کے لئے کیا کر رہے ہیں؟ |
| (Aap youmay Pakistan ky liye kia ker rahay hain? , Aap youmay Pakistan ky liye kia ker rahay hain? ) |
| This Urdu sentence literally translates as “You Pakistan Day for what doing?” But it means “What are you doing for Pakistan Day?". |
| Now, how do you answer this question? |
| The pattern is: |
| میں [plan] کا منصوبہ بنا رہا ہوں. |
| (Mei [plan] ka mansuba bana raha hun.) |
| This Urdu sentence translates as "I am [plan] of planning." But it means "I’m planning to [plan]." |
| For example: |
| “I'm planning to go to the beach.” |
| میں ساحل سمندر پر جانے کا منصوبہ بنا رہا ہوں., میں ساحل سمندر پر جانے کا منصوبہ بنا رہا ہوں. |
| (Mei sahil e samundar per janay ka mansuba bana raha hun. , Mei sahil e samundar per janay ka mansuba bana raha hun. ) |
