Alisha: Top 25 Urdu Questions You Need to Know - Lesson 6: "How long have you been studying Urdu?" in Urdu. Alisha: This pattern of first introducing a word at natural speed, providing the translation, breaking it down, and then giving it again at natural speed will be repeated throughout the series. Try to speak aloud as often as possible. The next word in the question is-

Alisha: Again, it’s almost the same, we just replace "five years" with "a couple of years." Now say "For a couple of years."

Alisha: Now it's time for a quiz. Imagine you're visiting Pakistan and someone asks you how long you’ve been studying Urdu. You’ve been studying it for one month. How would you answer?
Hamza: آپ کب سے اردو پڑھ رہے ہیں؟ (five seconds) .ایک ماہ سے
Alisha: Imagine you've been studying it for a couple of years. Respond to the question.
Hamza: آپ کب سے اردو پڑھ رہے ہیں؟ (five seconds) .کچھ سالوں سے
Alisha: Imagine you've been studying it for five years. Answer the speaker's question.
Hamza: آپ کب سے اردو پڑھ رہے ہیں؟ (five seconds) .پانچ سال سے
Alisha: Imagine you've been studying it for two years. How would you answer?
Hamza: آپ کب سے اردو پڑھ رہے ہیں؟ (five seconds) .دو سال سے
Alisha: Now you want to ask someone how long they’ve been studying Urdu. Ask them the question.
