INTRODUCTION
In Pakistan, the currency is the Pakistani Rupee. At the time this was written, the exchange rate was roughly 1 rupee to 0.0098 dollars and 1 US dollar to 101.77 rupee. 1 Euro will cost you 112.05 rupee, and 1 rupee will cost you 0.0089 Euro. It is 1 rupee to 0.0063 British pounds and 1 British Pound to almost 159 rupee. The currency includes 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000 and 5000 rupee notes, and 1, 2, and 5 rupee coins. In addition to a picture of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, each note also has a picture of a college where Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah went for a historic speech. Currency notes have the name of the State Bank of Pakistan in two languages, Urdu and English. In Urdu, the Pakistan Reserve Bank is called Bank Dolat Pakistan.

Let's try to say prices in Urdu. Let's start with 29 rupees.
First, you say the number, followed by the currency unit rupay. Twenty-nine in Urdu is untees, so “29 rupees” in Urdu is untees rupay.

When talking about prices, the singular and plural are used separately for the currency. If you are talking about one rupee, then you should use rupaiya meaning “rupee”. If you are talking about more than one rupee, then you should use rupay meaning “rupees”.
Therefore “1 rupee” is Aik rupaiya.
(slow) Aik rupaiya.
